St Ninian's Church is close to the centre of Nairn, at the top of the High Street on the B9090 Cawdor Road. If coming from the Aberdeen direction, after crossing the bridge over the river turn left * up the High Street (one-way) and continue straight on at the top of the brae through the town centre (one-way) and then fork left onto Cawdor Road. The church is another 100 yards or so on the left. Some local road-side parking is available but for a busy event you may be better to park in the town centre and walk the last 2-300 yards (see below). If coming from the Inverness direction, proceed to the bottom of King Street (passing the town centre car parks on your right) and turn right at the roundabout (towards Aberdeen) and then take the next turn right at the traffic lights, then follow as from * above.
TOWN CENTRE CAR PARKS. Roadside parking is available in the streets surrounding the church, but to avoid parking difficulties it may be easier to park in the Town Centre Car Parks. From Inverness turn right to the car-parks opposite the Community Centre and Police Station on King Street. From Aberdeen, cross the river bridge and continue to the roundabout and turn left. Continue past the first traffic lights and turn left into the car-parks. Walk out the car-parks from the top (south) end and walk eastward onto the High Street, turning right onto High Street and at the road junction continue in the same direction up Cawdor Road. The church is about 100 yards on the left. Its spire is visible from all directions.
