A rascally bunch of pirates (alias Inverness Symphony Orchestra's second violins!) invaded Nairn Community and Arts Centre on Sunday and added to the fun of our Kids Movie Favourites concert.
Nearly 200 small and large kids had a whale of a time singing along, boshing various percussion instruments, meeting Darth Vader and some Stormtroopers, and having an amazing (perhaps first) experience of live music. A large sum was raised for Drummond School and Nairn Academy special unit projects, and Music Nairn is delighted that their sponsorship of the concert met with such a good reception. Thanks so much to the orchestra for giving a rousing performance and making the day such fun!
