Edinburgh born Philip (principal cellist of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra) has been described as 'possessing that rare combination of refined technique with subtle and expressive musicianship… all the qualities of a world-class artist' (The Strad). He is also a passionate chamber musician and his performances with Perth born Alasdair have brought plaudits for 'highly sensitive playing of rare insight' (Classic FM Magazine).
Their beautiful programme spans several centuries from Bach to Nadia Boulanger, with Beethoven and Poulenc in between.
We're very honoured to have two such superlative Scottish musicians to play for us, so hope to see you all there!
