Alba Challah is a unique and exciting Klezmer and World Music band made up of six young highly trained classical musicians who met at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Playing clarinet, accordion, viola, cello, guitar and percussion, their common goal is to explore the vast array of music that exists outside of the familiar bubble of Western classical repertoire, and to challenge and push the boundaries of performance.  Everything from traditional Klezmer, Baroque and film music, all the way to Spanish Holy Week processional marches, classical fusions and even original compositions.  Prepare to go from Hungarian dances to klezmer, tango, Scheherazade and Saint Saens' wild Bacchanale.
